Privacy, plainly.
FocusLab is part of Studylet.tech. We built this to sell merch students actually want — not to harvest data. Here's exactly what we do and don't do.
The short version
- We don't sell or rent your data. Ever.
- We don't run third-party ad trackers across the site.
- We only collect what's needed to show you the store and (eventually) ship your order.
- Your cart and wishlist live in your browser — not on our servers.
- You can ask us to delete anything we have on you at any time.
What we collect
Locally on your device: your shopping cart, wishlist, and theme preference are stored in your browser via localStorage. Clear your browser data and it's gone.
When checkout launches: we'll collect the minimum needed to fulfill orders — name, shipping address, email, and payment details. Payments are processed by Shopify; we never see your card number.
Basic analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking) to understand which products people love.
What we don't collect
- No third-party ad pixels.
- No fingerprinting or device-tracking SDKs.
- No selling data to anyone, for any reason.
How we keep it safe
Everything moves over HTTPS. Order and payment data, when collected, is held by Shopify under their PCI-DSS infrastructure. We follow the principle of least access — only the people who need data to ship orders or help you can see it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any data tied to you. Email us and we'll handle it. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the rights granted by GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA — we'll honor all of them.
